Gov.Ayade Finally break silence on the unity of Nigeria.
The very productive & digital Governor of Cross River State,His Excellency Sen.Prof.Ben Ayade have finally opened up on the issue of Nigeria’s unity.
It is no longer news that some regions of country have been allegedly clamoring for succession over the years. This disposition have kept the issue bordering around the unity of Nigeria as a country bowling for years now.
Amidst many controversy surrounding this issue which has kept some political leaders in the country relatively mute; the Gov. Of Cross River State speaking at the occasion of the receiption of the new INEC commissioner in the state have started that Nigeria oneness is the way to go.
In his words”I preach peace because even if you split this country and the South and North go their separate ways, the South will go with its own conflicts and the North will go with its own conflicts. The reality therefore, is that the oneness of this country is the way to go.”
He also used the opportunity of the event to charge INEC on the need for a peaceful,free, fair and credible election by 2023.
