Earlier today, i accompanied Senator Godswill Obot Akpabio on a courtesy call to the Niger State Governor and Senator-Elect, His Excellency Abubakar Sani Bello.
We had very fruitful discussions as regards the leadership of the 10th Senate and I am happy that Governor Abubakar gave his backing to the candidature of Senator Godswill Akpabio as the next Senate president of Nigeria.
Senator Akpabio’s track record as Governor, Senator and Minister is not in doubt and I am sure Nigeria will stand to benefit a great deal from his sterling qualities.
