CRS Central Summit: Planning Committee Meets Ass. Prof. Otu Enyia, Others

In continuation of consultations to birth a new political narrative for Cross River State Central senatorial district using her first ever political summit, the planning Committee interfaced with Associate Prof. Jake Otu Enyia, Senior Special Adviser, Political Affairs to the Cross River State Governor in his Calabar resident.
The interactive session which centered on the welfarism of Central Cross River State took an overview of political antecedents vis-a-vis current realities and future projections for the senatorial district in line with theme of the summit.

The summit which has as it Theme, “The Place of Central in Cross River State Politics: Reviewing the Past, Present and Future of Youths Involvement/Participation in Politics”
aimed at interrogating the levels of youths participation and involvements in the governance architecture of Cross River State.
Considered innovative, critical and timely given almost zero presence of the teeming youths from this senatorial district in leadership positions, the summit will foreground seaming lacunas in previous epoch while postulating realistic and tenable hypothetical therapy to remedy the obvious political neglect confronting the district like sheeps with shepherds.
In their various submissions, the ideology of restoring lost sociopolitical and economic glories of Central Cross River State dominated discuss.

In the same spirit of camaraderie to the novelty of a political summit, Associate Prof. Jake Otu Enyia who doubled as host to the gathering with enthusiasm and sagacity welcome and commended the planning Committee for delving into issues of welfare for a region long neglected in terms of infrastructural and human capital development while charging them to continue the crusades of attitudinal reorientation in hope for a better Cross River state by extension.

He urged organizers to introspect on aim of the summit, the focus of youths demography, the current cacophony in central senatorial district, the major players in the region, their mentorship abilities, their degree of followership, among other subtle issues that may undermine the objective of this noble idea.
Continuing, he noted the importance of agenda setting with well defined aims and objectives.
Again, he assured organizers of utmost supports for a successful outing including extending their scope of contacts if the need arises given his cordial relationship with leaders across Central Senatorial district of Cross River state.
The pragmatic leader thanked His. Excellency, Sen. Prince Bassey Edet Otu for finding him worthy to navigate the political landscape of Cross River state as Senior Special Adviser, Political Affairs as well as those who may have recommended him to the governor based on proven track records of efficiency on duties.
At the SSA entourage are, philanthropic Hon. Austin Odu, former Vice Chairman, Boki Local Government Area, Mr. John Abuo, Boki APC stakeholder, Mr. James Abang, APC Buda ward Chairman as well as Sampson Awusa, Chief of Staff to the Senior Political Adviser.
