Hon. Victor Abang Visits CR Assembly Speaker, Hon. Bette Obi, Seeks Collaboration

Hon. Victor Abang, Member Boki/Ikom Federal Constituency Wednesday in Calabar paid courtesy visits to the duo of RT. Hon. Elvert Ayambem, Speaker Cross River State House of Assembly and his counterpart, Hon. Bette Philip Obi, Member Boki 1 State Constituency at the Assembly complex.
After a close door session at Speaker’s Office, it was gathered that crux of their discussions focused on navigating legislative path for socioeconomic and political transformation of Cross River State.
The maiden visit of Hon. Victor Abang, a Federal Parliamentarian with penchant for excellence who played a significant role to the restoration of territorial integrity of Danere communities in Boki Local Government Area brings to fore the imperative of effective representation.
Recall that ancestral heritage of above mentioned communities was threatened by the intrusion of Republic of Cameroon necessitating urgent intervention of both Federal and International community.
This latest visit of Hon. Victor Abang to his state of origin underscored the symbiotic relationship with Federal and State lawmakers with a view to attracting positive vibrations in the face of global economic warming ravaging the world with Nigeria inclusive like wildfires during harmattan season.
