
Abia Community hails king of boys over equitable distribution of 20 Hecters of Cocoa
The Abia Community in Etung LGA have expressed their satisfaction in the fairness displayed by Mr Augustine Amba Obaji popularly known as King of boys who was very recently given the responsibility as the suplimentary member representing Abia Ward in the Cocoa allocation committee over the equitable distribution of the 20 Hecters of Cocoa plots given to the community to make up for those who couldn’t make the list in the major allocation.

Speaking at the town hall meeting on Thursday afternoon,the youths leader mr Edoghane Ntui Stated his contentment in the process voicing that this is the very first time in the anals of the community experiencing such an event as compared to sons and daughters who have been previously given the same responsibility over the years.
He gave his words in support and exclaimed the youths readiness to work with the King of boys in other future endeavors.




In the same vain,the Former youths leader Comr Elvis Amba outlined the importance & significance of the gathering while acknowledging the member as a very strategic political team player who is playing in the right direction,hence pledging his support for the suplimentary member going forward.

Also speaking,Mr Obi Njar(Adabayo) critically commended the efforts of the king of boys for even having the courage of coming down to the people to announce the list of the beneficiaries in a town hall setting, describing the gesture as unigue and a total expression of fairness by the member in service to his people.








On his part,the chairman of Abia Community ministers forum Rev. Fr Moses Ogar used the opportunity of the meeting to challenge the community on good morals. He however use the biblical anology of Jesus feeding of the five thousand men with five loaves and two fishes.He examplified the king of boys charging the people to support secretary to the state government Prof. Anthony Owan in maintaining all round justice in the LGA and beyond.
” I have interface with the secretary to the Government of Cross River State and I can tell you that he wants the young people to grow. He is a man of intergrity and no mean repute who once the right thing to be at all times” he Said.
The priest futher challenged the Chiefs to be true to their responsibilities as the only way to be taken seriously in the decision making process at all times.
Appealing to the member, the clan Head Mr Ojong Tawor requested for the inclusion of Chiefs who where not captured in the next batch of the suplimentary allocation. He gave his support on behalf of the Chief council to the member for the display of sincerity reiterating their commitment for more engagement as time goes by.
