In a bit to foster continual peace and unity amongst the people of Etung LGA,the Cross River State Health Commissioner Dr Henry Egbe Ayuk PhD visited the communities of of Bendeghe Ekiem and Etomi in Etung LGA in response to the National thread of protest aimed at threatening our National coexistence.
Dr Ayuk stated that they was absolutely no need to disrupt the peace of any community under any guise insisting on total support for Government for better dividends.
*Today I intensified the mandate of ensuring peace in among our constituents. I visited a cross section of stakeholders in our communities in Bendeghe Ekim and Etomi wards in Etung LGA. The overarching objective of the visits was to ensure our people were sufficiently sensitized to keep away from any protests and stay away from harm intended by mischief makers.”
In attendance at both events where a large crowd,political big wigs of Etung LGA including the former cross River State Commissioner for Water Resources Hon Gab Odu Oji and the Mr Augustine Amba Obaji aka King of boys amongst others.
