Etung politics:Health Commissioner calls for unity amongst leaders.
The cross River State Health Commissioner,Dr Henry Egbe Ayuk has call on Etung political class to be more united in their goals and support for his Excellency,Sen Prince Bassey Edet Otu the Executive Governor of Cross River to better drive down dividend of democratic gains to the LGA.
Ayuk said this during a courtesy call to his office by the forum of APC ward chairmen of Etung LGA in calabar on Friday 16th August 2024.
He laid emphasis on the importance of working as a family under one leadership of His Excellency the Governor of Cross River urging the ward chairman to defy any role of dividing the leaders.He added that he is always ready to work with the Ward chairmen as long as their interest promotes the people’s first mantra of his Excellency the Governor.
Addressing the The Honourable commissioner, Mr Ramsome Achima the forum chairman expressed his satisfaction for the quality and pragmatic service delivery of the cross River State ministry of Health especially within the space of one year.He however,noted that under the watch of Dr Ayuk the ministry has continued to record remarkable gains describing the commissioner as a round peg in a round hole.
In almost the same turn,the ward chairman of Etomi Mr Mkpe Ojong and other who equally spoke expressed their challenges as a party and sued the work with the commissioner and other leaders to grow the interest of the party and embrace unity going forward.
