
Leader of Etung legislative council advocate for quality Education services amongst staff and students of his community
The leader of Etung legislative council,Hon.comr Ojong ThankGod has charged the students and staff of his community to accept the responsibility of giving in their best as actors in the Educational development of our state.
Hon Comr Ojong ThankGod made this known during a tour to his hometown at Abia in Etung LGA Thursday 21st November 2024.


Addressing staff and students in his Alma -Matar ST. Francis Primary school ABIA and Ogim-Onor Secondary school ABIA He(Hon leader) called on pupils and students to be committed to their Academics pursuit in other to become good ambassadors of their institution.
” I am a proud beneficiary of this institutions and I am happy with my progress so far. In our days,we don’t have good structures but we had quality teachers and we where committed to our studies.I urge u all to be focus bc I’m sure the future holds good prospects for all of us” he said.
As the Councilor representing the Ward, he frowned at the current disposition of Staffs nothing the absence of Staff and equally decried the low numbers of staff at the schools. In reacting to the appeal of the school representative requesting government to provide more work force,Hon ThankGod reassured the community of the readiness of the Hon. Henry Njar Anom Led Etung LGA to provide adequate services for the betterment of the Education sector in Etung LGA.
In company with the leader to the tour was comr Ejeh peter the CEO of pet media and events ventures,Mr Hillary Ojong,Mrs Grace Ndim,Mr Ekpere Emmanghe amongst others.
