*Obubra/Etung federal constituency: Group Holds pre Inaugural meeting,set to make bold statement ahead of 2027*
Members of the Obubra/Etung Federal constituency in cross River State under the platform of the Obubra/Etung Youths political Assembly has made clear their aims and objectives in a pre Inaugural meeting which held on Wednesday the 25th June 2025 at Zanzi Barr Hotel in calabar.
The meeting which brought together meaningful sons and daughters of the Obubra/Etung extraction was said to be targeted at cross fertilizing ideas that will generate to the process and development of the LGA s in all ramifications,promote good governance and bring about a more effective and efficient political leadership by 2027.
Addressing the meeting, the converner and coordinator Comr Ejeh peter took time in outlining the importance of the group going forward as a constituency.
The BOT chairman,Sen. Atu Alfred stressed on the need for the group to herpe on Accountability from our representatives who have been reluctant to quality service delivery,Retain the good once and take delibrate steps in bringing in capable leaders onboard.
On proceedings,Hon Dr mrs Beatrice Ebingha,Engr Ephraim Akamo,mrs Glory Ntui others participants aligned with the motives of the group to install patrons and matrons,create strategic committees to ensure adequate energy for developmental activities to be powered by the group.
At the meeting,Mr Franklin Ekpor the community Relations officer of Obubra 2 and Apst Ken Agbor inaugurated as heads of strategic committees, while Engr Assam Assam,Miss Funsi Ovat,Mrs Ebingha,Mrs Glory Ntui,Mr Anom,Mr Francis,Miss Delight Ekuri,Miss Sonia Daniel amongst others where named as committee members.
