“Our Representation as a constituency is something we can no longer joke with” Hon Kajang Obaji kicks as he receives members of the Obubra/Etung political Assembly

Hon Michael Kajang Obaji a political Big wig from Etung LGA who is a former deputy leader of council, chapter chairman of party, cocoa allocation member amongst others has task the people of Obubra/Etung on effective leadership at all levels,stating that Representation is something both leaders and supporters should no longer take for a joke especially in Obubra/Etung federal constituency.

Kajang disclose this during a courtesy visit to his residence in calabar by members of the Obubra/Etung political Assembly led the Director General Comr Ejeh peter on Monday morning the 12th July at his residence in calabar.

Speaking at the event, the Director General Comr Ejeh peter noted that the group symbol is simply advocacy for good governance and political emancipation of the federal constituency going forward.

” we are very delibrate about the quality of representation we shall be getting at our constituency going forward. We will speak out and take intentional steps on who represents us going forward. He said.

On her part,Hon Dr Mrs Beatrice Ebingha also herp on the need for more women in inclusion in the political process of the the constituency advocating that women are mostly the real voters at the polls should be carried along at all times.

The visit was climax by the decoration of Hon Kajang as a celebrated personality which was done on him by Apst Dr Ken Agbor the Director in charge of strategy in the Assembly.

In his reaction,Hon Kajang appreciated the group for the Honour done on him as one of the leaders to have been visited amongst others.

He encouraged the group to remain committed and steadfast to the group objectives regardless of any perceived challenges.

He stressed on the need for participatory and people’s centered leadership in the constituency to enable drive down more democratic gains.

” I am very delighted to receive members of this group today. Represention is what we can’t joke with at any level.

I didn’t join to gain affluence but to build a career in politics. Therefore, I’m in support of what you are doing because it is a step in the right direction” he noted
