Obubra-Etung political Assembly Flags-off Ward by ward tour in Etung LGA,Rally community Support for Gov’t Otu,others,ahead organic constituency endorsement Mega Rally for 2027
The Obubra-Etung political Assembly has on Tuesday the 21st of November at Ajassor in Etung LGA officially flagged-off a Ward by ward tour to be effected across the 21 wards that makes up the 21 Wards in Obubra-Etung federal constituency.
The event which took place at osele events center at Ajassor mission had in attendance meaningful personalities to include, community based leaders, Youths and women groups amongst others.
Addressing guests at the event, The Director General Comr Ejeh peter who spoke in a writing address through the secretary general Engr Ephraim Akamo noted that the activity is meant to reawaken community consciousness to the current reality of the constituency politics, create awareness for more community participation in the ongoing voters registration, calvanize support for the constituency organic Mega Rally of His Excellency, Senator Prince Bassey Edet Otu,His Deputy and other key positions ahead of 2027.
“We are here simply to engage with the Grass Root on the need to get their voters card ready for 2027 and that’s why we are saying operation get your voters card ready for 2027. Again, we shall as a group put together a mega endorsement Rally for Good Governance in the shortest possible time. We will endorse our sweet Governor and all our preferred candidates. It’s going to be an organic endorsement because is coming from the Grass root & community based leaders and besides, 95% of working members putting this event together are people without government offices, so is very organic.” He said.
The Director General appreciated the efforts and commitments of the central Excos,chapters Excos,the Ward coordinators, the BOT chairman Atu Alfred and his members and the entire team for their relentless efforts in seeing to the success of the occasion. He however, commended the effort and support of the Hon commissioner for Health,Dr Henry Egbe Ayuk PhD, Bishop Chris Obase, Chief Ernest Irek, Barr Gilbert Agbor the special Adviser on Assets management and Recovery CRS amongst other patrons and Advisers who have continued to demonstrate support and leadership to the group.
Reiterating his appreciation,He Ejeh peter described Dr Ayuk as a gold fish that has no hiding place while recounting his many giant strikes achievements in the Health sector in the last two years and counting. He equally appreciated his Royal Majesty Anthony Ntui Etta for the warm reception accorded to the Assembly by him.
On his part, the chairman of the event,Hon comr Saviour Mbe louded the group the initiative and program.
He Remaked that:
” It is not by chance that I was made to chairman of today’s event, I’m humbled but equal to task. Let me thank my father’s and leaders who are I I’m previlage to seat with on this high table. To the Obubra -Etung political Assembly this ideas are super and we are supporting them 100% because we know is for the betterment of the state and our constituency.”
The event was equally decorated with a Goodwill massage by the leader of Etung LGA legislative council,Hon Comr Ojong ThankGod, Mr Paul manyo Ojong, Ntufam Hon Bassey Agbor Njor,Hon Agbor Kingsley the councilor representing Ajassor Ward, Bishop Paddy Blessing Ndep amongst others.
