2027:CRS Central Group to engage stakeholders April 5th,Hints on Oden Ewa/  Reps positions

In cross River State Central, the contest seems stronger between The current senator Eteng Jonah and Hon Oden Ewa with both aspirants having their support base.

With this development, the CENTRAL SELECT INITIATIVE led by its Director General Hon Comr Ejeh peter has hinted that the group will give support to the best candidate after engaging with them. Ejeh noted that, Cross River Central deserves the best feet ever in the National Assembly at all levels:

“We are hopeful that our Governor will give us the opportunity to taste a leadership that is people oriented in central for both Senate and reps seats. We lack Basic developmental strides even though we are at the center of the state, but we are hopeful that we will get it right this time with the crop of persons aspiring for this position. We are confident thet Governor should know as a democratic politician and as a peoples first Governor that he needs his own men and voice in Abuja.

We are supporting his Excellency, our sweet Governor completely for second term and we will equally stand by him in any choice of candidates he choses. He is real political figures and we believing that he will make no mistakes in bringing own men on board especially for the reps seats. ”  He mentioned.

As alleged, is just but a couple of weeks to the party primaries elections in the country ahead of the 2027 General election.

He Explained that the group look forward to engage at least Three hundred(300) stakeholders in dinner  interaction at calabar proposed for  Sunday  5th April 2026 by 6pm to better inform their choice decision for senate and House of representatives seats in cross River State Central.

Reacting further,Dr Mrs Margerate Ayara,Dr Victor Ogar,Hon Ovat Abeng,Hon Mkboki Emmanghe amongst others stressed on Hon Oden Ewa commitment to venture in the race the group engaging with him and other aspirants even before the proposed stakeholders engagement.

At the meeting of Excos of the group which took place in calabar late hours of yesterday being Tuesday 17th March, The secretary of the Group,Hon Stanley Agbor mentioned the review of the committee members to plan the stakeholders engagement dinner as follows:
