The national youth council leadership of Nigeria have in two different letter drop report of the suspension of the CRS youths commander Comr Dan Obo & equally another report refuting claims of earlier report on his reinstatement.
Comr Dan Obo have from grassroot reports have been credited and rated high on service delivery, hence one wonders why such complecency characterizes such inclination.
However, press awaits briefing from comr Dan Obo regarding the state of affairs especially as it’s concerns the matter of suspension.

Etung LGA mega defection rally of Ntufam Hon Barr Christ Njar-Mbu Ogar,Ntufam hon (Comr) John Nkom Etuk,Hon Franka Ayuk,Hon Christian Achor,Hon Ebam Emmaghe,Hon Kingsley Ntui Isong & Mr Collins Atu Ogar have been consummated today with over 11,000 defectors.
The event had in attendance several dignitaries across the state including chief Obla,Barr Agara, Christian Ita,Agba Jibengo, prince Ebuta Ojong,Dr Henry Ayuk,Mr Ramsy Mdep,Mr Sunday Ndem,Hon.Patrick Enagu,Mr Ogar Lambert,Pst Erig winner Takon,state & LGA appointees,fmr chairman & house members of Etung LGA & a litany of Others.His Excellency the Governor of CRS Sen. Prof. Ben Ayade ably represented commissioner for humanitarian services Mrs Blessing Egbara.
The occasion could be said to be the political marriage of 99% of all the political big boys in Etung politics pet media & events can authoritatively report.
However, interesting times awaits Etung politics with Prof. Sandy Onor and two fmr commissioners in the other side as 2023 draws closer.
For the defectors, the duos of Prof Onor are insignificant as their defection marks the final burial of PDP in the LGA.
Political leader of Abia ward in Etung LGA who is the immediate past member representing Etung in the Cross River State House of Assembly & the current Special Adviser to his Excellency the Governor of CRS on legislative matters, Christ_Amb. (Hon) Christian Achor Agbor has today the 18th day in the month of June officially joined the APC & Abandoned the PDP.
He defected with the honourable cansellor representing Abia ward hon Ebuta peter, SSA on federal government intervention projects Mr Nji E Nji,SA on Agric Produce CRS Mr Ayuk Ekuri,SA on works CRS attached to Etung LGA, Supervisor for environment Etung LGA Mrs Elizabeth Mbuk,SA on Culture & Tourism Etung Christiana Ada Agbor,SA on new Media to chairman Etung LGA Comr Ejeh peter.
The then factional PDP exco of the ward completely and solely defected with him in loyalty amongst hundreds of his supporters.
The event was attended by APC stakeholders in the ward and some of them includes.
1: Mr Ogar Lambert (former supervisor for finance Etung LGA & SSA on deforestation CRS.
2:Hon Abiam Etta (2 SA, supervisor & hon cansellor of the ward & APC chapter vice Chairman Etung LGA.

DR Anthony Bissong Attah the IPAC chairman & YYP chairman CRS has noted earlier through his Facebook page that real politics will begin in the Cross River State House of Assembly with the movement of his Excellency the Governor of CRS to APC.
Recall that the His Excellency the Governor of CRS has recently defected with at about 23 assembly members to the APC leaving about 7 behind in the PDP hence Anthony Bissong Attah had course to make strong statements as it concerns the speaker managing opposition relatively for the first time.

THE END OF A RUBBER STAMP ASSEMBLY.
Real politics will begin in Cross River State from next week when the State House of Assembly resumes plenary. The Speaker, Rt. Hon. William Jones Eteng will for the first time test the bite of real opposition in the once rubber stamp House of Assembly.
I can pontificate that beyond the present hocus pocus and higi haga, the real political theatre in the ‘new Cross River State’ will be the Legislative Chamber. With at least seven Members of the CRS House of Assembly, including, Hon Itam Abang (Boki 1), Hon. Fred Osim (Ikom 1), Hon. Nelson Ofem (Yakurr 1), Hon. Friday Okpechi (Obubra 1), Hon. Frank Ovat (Obubra 2), Hon. Efa Esua Calabar Municipality, Hon. Elizabeth Ironbar (Akpabuyo) staying back in PDP, the political equation in the once dull and passive House of Assembly is set to be altered for good.
It is expected that with the rumored incentives coming ‘outside’ the state coffers to PDP Members in the House, we are most likely to witness a measure of ‘opposition’ in the once Quabalized and Densified House of Assembly. Although, it may not translate to a complete Portuguese Parliament or the cerebral Ekiti State or other very engaging House of Assembly, we are very certain that for the first time in a little over 6 years now, the House is set for some legislative gymnastics and acrobatics.
The old era of caucus legislation and yeah yeah deliberation is going to give way to a new order of intensed lobbying, proper consultation and brainstorming sessions with both sides making clinical effort to buy public sympathy. Moreover, the office of Minority Leader, Deputy Minority Leader and others will be created automatically as against the status quo ante. In this case, the Leader of the House will no longer straddle like a colossus since he now has an opponent to contend with. Most importantly, Bills will undergo the needed legislative scrutiny and for the first time the House will undertake proper oversight functions. Budgets will henceforth be much more professionally prepared and presented without the usual grandiloquence and higgledy-piggledy.
Interestingly, unlike the last Assembly where the only Member who defected to the APC was kept outside the legislative chambers under the guise of losing his seat, this time around it is the PDP that rightfully ought to demand the resignation of the other 18 Members for defecting from the party through which they were elected into the House.
In any case, the days ahead promises to be interesting in the annals of Cross River State politics.

I feel extremely humbled to stand before this great, wonderful,egnematic and very resourceful audience decorated with men and women of repute, style and very dynamic capacities to present this ryme of a man with multiple bearings wearing a coat of many colours Mr Victor N Abang who hails from Abia village in Etung LGA of CRS.
Yes it is true, that Mr Victor N Abang has always come out best of his class rating from his primary school days at St Francis primary school Abia to his secondary School days at velos ikom and even to his Nce days at Federal college of Education Obudu, but his natural intelligence & wisdom has always been prime in his endeavors.
Despite his Hobb for football, squash and other games, he enjoys walking, reading lines of great speakers, listening to classical and Christian music while remaining focus and committed to business.
Very respected guest,here is a fine gentleman happily married with two kids.
He was born on the 11th of November 1983 to family of Mr and Mrs Nsung Abang of Abia clan in Etung LGA and he is currently as a business mongule whose philanthropic gestures, Business expertise,service to God and humanity has ended him fame coupled with many awards from both local and international communities and organizations.
Capturing the import of the above statement,He was recently decorated with a very revered and prestigious award as a smart ambassador with the United Nations on the 6th of November 2020 at Abuja.It was indeed a moment that was not just electrifying and infectious but was also an inspirational moment that enveloped both national and international guest present at the occasion.
Ladies and gentlemen,there is no success without a story; But Mr Victor N Abang have always attributed his success story to “God’s grace”he doesn’t just say this but has continually demonstrates it in Thanksgiving to God.
A long son they say is not a sweet one, therefore permit very respected guest even as I wonder in the face of intellectualism to fast track this citation with my Lamentation.
I am lamenting as I stand here today like John the Baptist would say to Jesus Christ”I’m not worthy to undo your sandal” Mr Victor N Abang. Who am I? Unworthy as I am to introduce this great achiver before me.A man with so much integrity, credibility and capacity.
Today I join a great philosoper Dr Barr John Edor who once joined a scholar called Mr Dave Mbua to lament when he was presenting the citation of Prof. Ejioma of harmonious monisn at his inaugural lecture.
I thought at first sight that his Lamentation on that day was to set a precedent for his eulogy only to realize now that his Lamentation was born out of genuine intention because today I share almost the same fate.
Today I lament profusely because I consider myself not best suited for this job.
But even in my Lamentation very dist. Guests, ladies and gentlemen, I’m deeply consoled that even the book of Lamentation in the Bible came to an end therefore I shall not lament forever.

The Comr chairman who was ably represented by his SA on new Media Comr Ejeh peter thanked the department for the honour stating that it is and encouragement for him to do more. He encourage the students to stay true to their education while staying away from vices.

The respected gentleman who have remained a figure in youths development in CRS announce his defection in his ward today 9th June 2021 in Abi LGA of CRS.
His move is move seems to be timely, calculated and even praiseworthy but however leaves a poser in the politics of Nigeria capturing the import of his connection with/as the son in-law of former president Goodluck Johnathan who is still in the PDP.
