
Commissioner Ayuk visits Obubra, reechoes need for change in leadership and more effective representation for federal constituency.
This weekend the C’River Commissioner for Health Hon Dr Egbe made three important visits to Obubra LGA communities.
At Ovonum where he was received by traditional rulers and leaders of the community at Ovonum Health Center, the Commissioner reiterated Gov Otu’s people centered mantra and promised immediate uplift of the facility.
At Ogada in Obubra Urban, where he was hosted by a volunteer peace and security corps, he promised to assist with procurement of necessary tools to strengthen their operations.
He ended the day at Ochon where he was hosted at Treasure Hotel by its owner Mr Egare alias 001, Mr John Okpa alias Long John and other youths.
In all three locations, the common denominator in his message was the total support for Governor Otu to finish strong and win 2027. He told the people of Obubra and Etung to rise and brace up for a change for an effective, pragmatic and performing representation of the federal constituency devoid of emotional narratives. A leadership owes its constituents service not number of tenures in office.
” Our Dear Governor His Excellency Senator Prince Bassey Edet Otu my Boss is performing Excellency well. We shall continue to support him and return him come 2027 for a second term; Our Support is total for our Governor.
Our federal constituency need a driving force that will help our party fast track to victory seamlessly,therefore, Obubra -Etung people must rise and brace up for a change for effective, pragmatic and performing representation of the federal constituency devoid of emotional narratives. A leadership owes it’s constituents service not numbers of tenures in office without results.” He said.
In what seems like the same concerns, by all Obubra Leaders who spoke at various instances suggest the long lasting neglect of expected service from some office holders at the constituency level.
However, the contributors gave their support to the Government of Cross River State and expressed their satisfaction in the leadership of the people’s first Governor of Cross River State.
