Cross River State chairman of the All PROGRESSIVES CONGRESS (APC), Rt Hon Christopher S Eta, has reiterated the commitment of the Ruling All PROGRESSIVES CONGRESS (APC) in the state to the People’s first Agenda of His Excellency, senator Bassey Edet Otu led Government.
Announcing this development while in audience with members of the organizing Brand led by Comr Ejeh peter in calabar, Eta noted that Gov’t. Otu effort in putting the people first is yielding significant Results and driving true progress for the state.
He further expressed his satisfaction for the people’s first Award initiative, noting that only people’s oriented Government officials and Grassrooters who have truly represented the ideals of the people first mantra of Governor Otu’s administration in their service to humanity will be satisfied receiving the Honour, while encouraging others to work hard to be nominated in the future.
” I have done the basic responsibilities of my office with due diligence and a deep sense of responsibility since I assumed office as chairman. Infact, the progress we have recorded so far speaks true representation and administration, true leadership has returned to the system. If this is one of the many reasons you want me to take the responsibility for Honour then I will gladly be available” he Noted.
Earlier on, Addressing the state party chairman and his team, The Chief Executive officer of pet media and events Comr Ejeh peter stated that the “people’s first Award” is a way of appreciating and recommending back to the society and Governor true Ambassadors of the people’s first mentra who are making impact in one way or the other in various categories.
” The Streets knows Government officials who are truly doing well and putting the people first in their service delivery and call to duty. The streets equally knows professionals, civil servants, Business men and women alike who have kept with the people’s first Agenda of our Sweet Governor, therefore,we are making no mistakes in acknowledging their efforts in humanity development. This will serve as a benchmark for non performance and performance in line with the people’s first drive of the state” he said
The Award ceremony is proposed to be held on Friday the 31st of July in calabar with over twenty proposed Awardees nominated in the category of Top Government officials, Political Grassrooters, Professionals, Business men and women who are truly keeping up with the peoples first Agenda amongst others.
