The special Adviser to the Governor of Cross River State on General duties, Chief Barr Ekpeyong Akiba has been named as the 2026 Best performing special Adviser in cross River State for his sterling performance in developing key themes, projects and making impact.
Presenting the people’s first impact Award shortly after the Award ceremony in calabar,the chief Executive officer of pet media and events the organizing Brand of the people first Award ceremony,Comrade Ejeh peter stated that the supervisory input of the office of the special Adviser to the Governor of Cross River State on general duties have been very outstanding and satisfactory and have resulted in the many achievements of all sections in the state as it concerns the people’s first mentra of his Excellency, Prince Bassey Edet Otu the Governor of Cross River State.
” Your performance as special Adviser is satisfying even to the streets of cross River State. Your practical and visible approach as well as your Supervisory input have been wonderful so far.
In our rating, you stand out as the best and we are using this avenue to equally tasks His Excellency our Sweet Governor to create the ministry of “general duties” and name you as commissioner to further strengthen your efforts and input in the people’s first Government because you are doing absolutely well” Ejeh noted while presenting the Award.
Recall, that the people’s first Award ceremony took place in calabar on Friday July 31st at the tent at calabar municipal council Dome and was recorded as an epoch making event that Honored selected impact makers of the people’s first Government in line with the peoples first mantra which is the guiding mentra of Prince Bassey Edet Otu led Government.
In his response, Akiba recounted the many giant strides of the Otu’s led Administration repelling critic(s) of the current cross River State led Administration as “scammers” without clear and genuine intentions for the state.
” All those criticizing the Prince Otu Government and even those trying to make noise about his second term bid should be considered as scammers that want to scam cross River State of the great Future Governor Otu’s administration has prepared for us. Things are far better in our infrastructure, Health, Education and other sectors in the state than it was before Prince Otu came on bored”. Amongst other sensitive areas He mentioned.
He appreciated the organizers for their dexterity and their drive in promoting the people’s first Government through the people’s first Award initiative.
