The National Programme Manager of the Rural Hustle–Government Enterprise and Empowerment Programme (RH-GEEP) 3.0, Baba Hamza, has commended Fanny Odey for her outstanding contributions as the State GEEP Coordinator to the empowerment initiative in Cross River State, promising stronger collaboration with the state government to expand economic opportunities for beneficiaries and citizens of Nigeria.
Hamza made the remarks during the flag-off of the RH-GEEP 3.0 empowerment programme in Cross River State, where he emphasised the importance of sustained partnerships between the programme and the state government in achieving its objectives.
“let me Commend the state coordinator of GEEP Fanny Odey for her commitment towards the progress of our programs so far in the State. We have appointed local Government coordinators to help coordinate the selection process of over five hundred farmers that will benefit the sum of three hundred naira each in this phase of the Empowerment.”
He added that
” We have confirmed the good work Governor Otu is doing in cross River State, I heard of it and it is visible on the ground. The Governor is very well and we will continue to strengthen collaboration for a More productive result”
At the event,Data and information tools were presented to the eighteen local Government coordinators to enhance the smooth running of their offices by the national program manager.
In his address,His Excellency Sen Prince Bassey Edet Otu the Governor of Cross River State who was represented by Hon Sylvester Agabi the deputy speaker of the cross River State House of Assembly reiterated Government commitment to supporting programs and initiatives that will further better the lot of the masses.
