2027: Ajassor Community Throws Weight Behind Dr. Erim Agbor
Ajassor Community in Etung has declared its firm support for Dr. Erim Agbor ahead of the 2027 election for the Etung State Constituency seat, citing respect for traditional leadership, unity and the development of the community.
The declaration was made on the 5th during the Etung New Yam Celebration held in Ajassor Community and convened by the Etung Paramount Ruler, HRM Amb. Anthony Ntui Etta.
The gathering brought together traditional rulers, political leaders, community stakeholders and other members of the Etung community for discussions centred on unity, development and the political future of the constituency.
In a significant show of support, Hon. Kingsley Ntui, member representing the Etung State Constituency, declared that Ajassor Community was prepared to fully support Dr. Erim Agbor in the 2027 elections.
According to him, the decision was partly motivated by Dr. Agbor’s recognition and honouring of the traditional institution.
“For the singular fact that you honoured our Paramount Ruler today, Ajassor Community will support you.”
The event also provided a platform for stakeholders to reaffirm their commitment to peace, unity and development in Etung.
Participants further expressed support for the continued leadership of the President and the Governor of Cross River State, with calls for their re-election in the 2027 general elections.
The declaration by Ajassor Community marks another significant development in the emerging political conversations ahead of the 2027 Etung State Constituency election.
