Obubra -Etung reps aspirant,Captain Edom Tawo gets massive grassroot acceptance ahead of Party primaries
Captain Edom Tawo an aspirant for the Obubra -Etung Federal House of representatives has gotten Grassroot acceptance in his home town Bendeghe Ekien, Etung Local Government Areas as the build up for the 2027 General election continues to draw very close.
Edom who attended the All progressive Congress (APC) Bendeghe Ekien meeting and commissioning of the party Secretariat put together by the Comr Atu Alfred led Ward Excos early hours of Sunday,the 3rd of May 2026 was greeted with a rousing welcome by the community youths, women, Chiefs as well as the Obubra -Etung political Assembly group demonstrating acceptance for the aspirant.
Speaking at the event, The Honourable commissioner for Health,Dr Henry Egbe Ayuk PhD described Edom as a young political progressive mind filled with deep humility that will endear better future political growth and collaboration for the larger community.
Edom, who used the opportunity of the event to declare his intentions to contest for the federal house of representatives under the All progressive Congress (APC) party platform reiterated his confidence and commitment to serve the constituency better if granted the opportunity to fly the party ticket in the fourth coming primary election.
