
CRS Youths commissioner Barr Ijom bags people’s first impact Award, hails Gov’t Otu commitment to Youths development in CRS
The Commissioner for Youths development cross River State,Barr Ijom Ukam has reiterated Governor Bassey Otu commitment to the development of Youths in cross River State as a Major theme of the people’s first mentra of the current cross River State administration.
Ijom disclosed this while addressing a unique audience after being presented with the “people’s first Award” in recognition of his sterling performance and service delivery to humanity in absolute alignment to the people’s first mantra of the Government of Cross River State.
“Let me thank the organizers of this very unique occasion for a job well done. To the glory of God, this Award would not have been made possible if his Excellency had not appointed me to Head the Youths sector in the state and so, I dedicate this Honour to him and the Youths of cross River State for giving me the enabling grounds to achieve all what we have achieved so far as as a ministry. We have empowered several Youths in skill acquisition and have strengthened partnerships with private organizations that have impacted the lives of so many Youths in the state.” Among things He said.
Speaking shortly before presenting the Award,The chief executive officer pet media and events the organizing Brand comr Ejeh peter noted that,the Youths commissioner is one those commissioners who stands out in commitment to duty, service delivery and have recorded significant Results in the Youths sector and have stayed true to the people’s first mantra, hence, the need for the Honour he mentioned.
The event took place early hours at the tent at calabar municipal council Dome on Friday the 31st July and had in attendance meaningful personalities to mark the event.
